The Earthshot Prize, founded by Prince William, is dedicated to tackling the world’s urgent environmental challenges through igniting climate creativity and global action. Shining a light on innovative solutions, the Prize awards 5 of our planet’s most forward-thinking founders £1M to support the ideas that could change our world. More than just a prize, it is a platform for lasting change, uniting nominees from around the globe to build an ever-growing community of pioneers. Together, they are leading a movement of climate optimism, hope and resilience. To advance this mission, we worked alongside The Earthshot Prize to create a brand identity that would inspire global participation and drive collective action toward a sustainable future.

Designing for Impact
We believe brand identity is a tool for change. The Earthshot Prize needed a platform to engage diverse audiences—from world leaders to grassroots innovators. The flexible toolkit we created enables the Prize to consistently communicate its mission with the clarity and optimism we need to spark meaningful action at all levels. The system is built to adapt, ensuring the brand remains recognisable and relevant in a constantly evolving world.
A Brand with Purpose
The new identity champions the interconnectedness of individual actions and their collective impact. Centred around a single global motif, we built a dynamic system that amplifies stories of optimism and hope without distraction. The globe is a timeless, inclusive and scalable device - able to spotlight the unique contribution of single solutions or multiply to highlight how every individual effort adds to a larger movement for change. Paired with a bright palette that represents each prize category and a bold typographic system, this concept positions the brand as a home for climate creativity, uniting the world with a powerful call to action.









Engaging the Next Generation
A core part of the project was ensuring the brand connects with younger audiences—the future leaders of sustainability. The toolkit includes resources that empower The Earthshot Prize to create content that resonates with youth, fostering a sense of responsibility and inspiring them to take bold steps toward environmental solutions.


The Finalists
The Earthshot Prize gathered Finalists in Cape Town to showcase the transformative power of innovation and collaboration. Set against the vibrant backdrop of South Africa, the event celebrated groundbreaking solutions from Finalists around the world tackling the planet’s most pressing environmental challenges.
The reimagined brand identity came to life, uniting a global audience of leaders, innovators, and changemakers. From captivating visuals to inspiring storytelling, the celebration reinforced The Earthshot Prize’s mission to drive collective action and inspire hope for a sustainable future. It was a moment that underscored The Earthshot Prize’s role as a catalyst for impactful change worldwide.








Results
The Earthshot Prize now has a cohesive, adaptable identity that clearly communicates its mission to its diverse and global audience. By rallying people around a common cause, the brand creates a platform for meaningful change, leaving a legacy that will inspire future generations.
